The news that Intel has acquired the wireless infrastructure business of the company that was formally mindspeed is confusing, perhaps due to my lack to foresight and knowledge in this area.
A company building chipsets and silicon for the mobile market would very much benefit from the intellect that no doubt exists at Mindspeed – but what will happen to the mindspeed products?
It seems like a pure acquisition of talent – any views?
